The Universe Is Connected To Me - Niel deGrasse Tyson

Do you ever wonder about the purpose of like and the significance of your existence in this world? Ever think about the daily rut that you go through and the worldly pleasures and woes that you experience? Is that all that matters or what drives you will to exist as a individual?

We all have ego's that help protect our identity and individuality. It drives us, calls to us and makes us do or believe in what we do. But when we look at our selves in the vastness of the live that we seem to be part of, our insignificance (or the notion of one) makes us take two possible routes of thought. One that enables us to celebrate and embrace our lives and the ones that makes us get into a state of ignorance.

Niel deGrasse Tyson puts a clear perspective to what one should think when he or she ever pause in this finite existence of self. It will make your day or perhaps life. Celebrate every day of your existence as you are special, in every way of scientific and probabilistic explanation that can put forth.

Think of yourself as some one special. Someone who is alive and intelligent enough to understand the purpose of being where you are and being part of a much larger scheme of thing that is life. It might be beyond our absolute comprehension, yet its quite clear and factual. Not mythical or imaginary. And one only needs to look up in the sky to know that they are part of a much larger family that connect with them. Life then seems magical.
